Monaco Grand Prix Travel and Hospitality Package


Global Racing Schools is offering a travel and hospitality package for the upcoming Monaco GP. Exclusive race viewing from a private yacht, an open bar, 5 star hotel and so much more. Join in the intense atmosphere as the fans gather for a brilliant race that can only be a spectacle to watch.

Whether you are going with your friends, family, or as a business retreat, this package is one that everybody will enjoy. Book early to avoid disappointment as we are limiting the number of seats available to just 40 pax.

PRICES

The cost of the trip is based on sharing twin or double rooms and includes all of the items listed on the front page (according to the tour itinerary booked).

For those guests that make their own travel arrangements to and from the Cote d’Azur the cost is 3800.00 USD per person based on sharing a twin/double room. The single room supplement is 860.00 USD.

Options

  • You can reserve places on the yacht for Saturday (Qualifying) at 720.00 USD per person.

  • Grandstand seats can be booked for the Saturday with costs from around 450.00 USD per person for top seats (we can book these on your behalf).

  • Chauffeured transfers between the hotel and Monaco are not included on the Saturday but can be arranged.

  • Train to Monaco from the local station at Mandelieu (5 minutes walk from the hotel) at a cost of around 15.00 USD (return tickets)
  • For the ‘Yacht Only on GP Sunday’ the cost is 2400.00 USD per person. This does not include hotels, transfers etc.
  • Additional nights at the hotel can be arranged from 280.00 USD per person/per night (based on twin sharing)

What’s not included:

  • Personal travel or cancellation insurance
  • Chauffeured airport transfers (but can be arranged on request from around 150.00 USD each way per car)
  • Incidentals such as telephone calls, mini bar etc.

* Due to the international nature of our clients we do not include flights as part of our standard package. This allows attendees to arrange their flights to fit with their required timings and departure airports

THE FLY DOWN

For guests making their own travel arrangements or taking the option of booking flights through ourselves you can choose to arrive from the Friday onwards. Friday daytime is free for you to enjoy the secluded resort of Mandelieu with its private marina and a selection of excellent restaurants including the two Michelin star l’Oasis. Cannes is just 5 minutes by taxi and is an excellent way to while away a few hours.  A drinks reception will be held early Friday evening by the hotel pool when you can meet up with your fellow guests. This will be followed by dinner that evening.

YACHT VIEWING

To make the most of your Monaco weekend why pack into the public grandstands with everyone else? With us, you will be watching from a private yacht exclusively reserved for our group in the prestigious Monaco harbour. This really is for the privileged few. A quick wave of your special pass and it’s through the checkpoints and restricted access areas by the F1 pits and along the quayside to the exclusive yacht. As an added bonus – time your arrival right and the chances are you will be incredibly close to the cars as they complete their pre-race warm-up. Crowding is not a problem as we limit numbers to just forty people so there is plenty of room on board.  The bar is open and drinks are free all day. Mid morning snacks are offered followed by a fine gourmet lunch with wines – served and finished with ample time before the race gets underway.

The yacht is moored in a superb spot at Tabac corner a matter of feet away from the track. You will have a close up uninterrupted view at one of the best corners on the circuit as the cars brake hard from the straight after the chicane before powering off down to the swimming pool complex. Although you are right up close to the action it’s vital to keep in touch with what’s happening around the track and the harbour’s giant TV screen opposite the famous tunnel chicane will keep you informed throughout the race.  From the yacht you can view the Tunnel exit and the chicane before the short straight into Tabac and away.

THE GRAND PRIX WEEKEND

FRIDAY

Friday is free for you to relax around the swimming pool at the Pullman, cruise into Cannes or just take it easy. We will be gathering for drinks that evening before an excellent dinner at a top restaurant in Mandelieu which is of course all included. After dinner visit the Pullman’s nightclub or Casino or perhaps a few drinks on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.

QUALIFYING – SATURDAY

For Saturday we can offer as an option viewing from our yacht to watch the F1 qualifying, GP2 race and other support races. There will be a simple lunch served on board plus a pay bar which is open from 10.00am. Alternatively, spend the day lazing by the hotel pool, watching and being watched as you stroll down the Croisette in Cannes or venture into Nice – the choice is yours. If you are in Monaco then stay on and spend the evening – the town is your oyster… Try your luck at the Casino’s gaming tables, have a beer in the famous Tip Top Club (the scene of Mike Hailwood’s baton battle with the police and Graham Hill’s underpants dance….) right next to the track as it runs down toward Mirabeau or just go people watching and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Monaco the night before the GP.  We can also arrange Saturday Qualifying grandstand seats if required.

RACE DAY – SUNDAY


Having returned to the hotel and got at least some sleep….It’s off in the pre-booked transfer vehicles which will take you into the centre of Monaco just a few  minutes from the quayside and the water taxis which will take you to ‘your’ yacht.

The transfer time is 45 minutes from hotel to Monaco and a far more civilized option than taking the train! As you stroll down to the quayside via the stands and stalls why not take a drink or two at a bar before catching the start of the day’s action. For the uninitiated, this Grand Prix really must be experienced. A uniquely heady atmosphere fills the Principality on race day and the sound is genuinely phenomenal! The sound of modern day F1 cars is amazing at the best of times but within this tight, built up area it takes it to another level. Quite astonishing.

After the race we will be heading off to the top terrace of the Miramar Hotel which has been reserved exclusively for guests. Just two minutes from the yacht guests can chill out and relax while the rest of Monaco goes crazy as everyone else tries to get away. Continuing the VIP theme the drinks and canapés are of course all included. The vehicles will then pick the group up from the Miramar and return to the Pullman Hotel. Sunday night is free.

THE HOTEL


The hotel we use for the Monaco GP Tour is the luxurious 5 star Pullman Royal with swimming pool, a choice of restaurants and three bars plus an excellent casino and nightclub. It is located right on the bay of Mandelieu with unobstructed views of the sea. The rooms are all large and beautifully equipped (as you would expect of a 5 star residence) and there is naturally a 24 hour room service providing hot and cold dishes. An excellent relaxed location and yet just 5 minutes from the centre of Cannes.

ALL INCLUSIVE (well almost)

This is virtually an ‘all-inclusive’ package which we feel represents excellent value. Our full Tour including 3 night’s 5 star hotel, GP viewing from private yacht with open bar, gourmet lunch and wines, gourmet dinner, post race drinks party, drinks etc., costs from 3800.00 USD.
